Filmed in the yard of a villa on the mountainside of Cividate Camuno, Ciò che Trattiene / Ciò che Rilascia unfolds as an intimate ritual of loosening. A solitary figure stands still, wrapped in a long length of white fabric. As the camera slowly circles and retreats, the fabric unwinds, not through her movement, but through the traveling and shifting gaze of the lens.

What begins as a tightly framed portrait gradually expands into a broader meditation on presence and perspective. As the figure recedes in scale, the work shifts from the interior to the exterior, from the individual body to the larger context that holds it.

This act of unbinding is both personal and spatial, a meditation on presence, attention, and the porous boundary between self and world. In its slow turning outward, Ciò che Trattiene / Ciò che Rilascia reflects on the tension between what anchors and what releases us, and how we are held by the landscapes we inhabit.

Girato nel cortile di una villa sulle pendici di Cividate Camuno, Ciò che Trattiene / Ciò che Rilascia si dispiega come un intimo rituale di scioglimento. Una figura solitaria è immobile, avvolta in un lungo telo bianco. Mentre la telecamera ruota e si allontana lentamente, il telo si srotola, non attraverso il suo movimento, ma attraverso lo sguardo mobile e mutevole dell'obiettivo.

Ciò che inizia come un ritratto inquadrato in modo serrato si espande gradualmente in una più ampia meditazione sulla presenza e la prospettiva. Man mano che la figura si allontana in scala, l'opera si sposta dall'interno all'esterno, dal corpo individuale al contesto più ampio che lo contiene.

Questo atto di scioglimento è sia personale che spaziale, una meditazione sulla presenza, l'attenzione e il confine poroso tra sé e mondo. Nel suo lento evolversi verso l'esterno, Ciò che Trattiene / Ciò che Rilascia riflette sulla tensione tra ciò che ci ancora e ciò che ci libera, e su come siamo trattenuti dai paesaggi in cui viviamo.
