Aidron Duckworth Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of a group show on October 4, 2025. This collection of eight artists - educators, colleagues, friends -formed a lasting connection while teaching at a low-residency MFA program. This exhibition is a reflection of how the dialogues, exchanges, and compassion that bas interwoven their group mirrors their pedagogic beliefs and influences their studio practices. Fron1 the curator's statement, Craig Stockwell provides this context: "I cannot help but cry when speaking to students at 1neaningful tuoments. I am moved by their efforts in the face of so much that resists. I tried to fight that impulse but came to realize that my tears were a mo111ent to acknowledge the depth of our human efforts. That the tears might be a part of the pedagogy of teaching art." This shared sentiment of hope and en1pathy while acknowledging the complexity of the human experience is a throughline amongst the works in the show. And is an essential aspect of the dynamic that shapes the friendship of the group.
